To provide warm and energetic support for the runners, the Trail du Val Rancure has identified four strategic fan zones. Located in easily accessible areas, these zones are ideal for cheering on participants throughout their efforts. These locations are spread out over the courses of the three races and allow families, friends and trail enthusiasts to provide a real boost of energy to the runners.
This first supporters' zone is located at kilometre 6, by the Canal d'Oraison. Accessible by car or on foot from Oraison, this is the perfect place to come and cheer on the runners in the three races (14km, 29km and 46km). The canal offers a pleasant setting in which to relax and cheer on the participants, who will need motivation as they continue along the course.
Le Castellet, the first village through which the riders will pass, is also home to a fan zone in the heart of its centre. Easily accessible and lively, this area will allow spectators to cheer on the riders as they pass close to the first refreshment post, located at kilometre 6. Supporters will be able to enjoy the Provençal charm of the village while cheering on the participants in the three races. It'll be a buzzing place where the applause and smiles will give the runners a boost before they embark on the next stage of their effort.
The Entrevennes fan zone, located at kilometre 20, is a key point for those following the 29km and 46km routes. This picturesque village offers a welcoming setting where spectators can support the runners as they take advantage of the second feed station. Accessible by car, this area offers superb views of the surrounding countryside, allowing supporters to enjoy the atmosphere while cheering on the athletes in a friendly atmosphere.
The final fan zone is in the village of Puimichel, at kilometre 32, reserved for the 46km participants. This strategic point comes at a crucial moment in the race, when the runners will need all the support they can get as they tackle the final kilometres. Spectators will be able to enjoy the warm atmosphere of the village while cheering on the athletes in their final efforts. Puimichel is easily accessible by car, making it an ideal place for supporters to follow the riders' performances at close quarters.
